Colori Cashmere is a colorful ode to the centuries old Italian art of knitting. Colori uses Cariaggi yarn, a leading purveyor in Europe. Cariaggi sources from responsibly selected flocks in Inner Mongolia, then spins and dyes the fibers to create the softest, most vibrant yarn in Italy. Every Colori piece is then knitted in our family workshop in Como, Italy, using artisanal techniques perfected over the last three generations.

Lake Como Workshop

Located 15 minutes away from beautiful Lake Como, our workshop was founded by our grandmother in the late 50’s. Over the years, the workshop has grown to introduce new machines and techniques while still honoring the traditional craftsmanship that Italy is renowned for. Today, three generations later, all our knits are crafted by a team of 12 artisans with the same passion and attention to details that ‘nonna’ had on her first day.

Cariaggi Cashmere

We source all our cashmere yarn exclusively from Italian spinner Cariaggi located near Urbino, in the green surroundings of the Marche Apennines. Using the highest quality raw cashmere fibers from Inner Mongolia, Cariaggi’s yarn is dyed, carded, and spun entirely in their cutting-edge facility in Italy. Only the longest and thinnest fibers are selected to guarantee the maximum softness, vibrancy, and durability in the final yarn.
